I, personally, think that this is a simple trick, but since christmas is also a time of wonders I won’t mind (nor tell) if someone actually believes in that special tree.
Well, if it’s not a trick then I would say that the reason for the trees unsharpness lies somewhere within the rules of the quantum dynamics. You can tell where that tree is but then, as a matter of fact, it is just not sharp.
